Red October – SMX Event

Red Note of Las Vegas is hosting a special multiday StepManiaX tournament for Halloween weekend! Come join us for a weekend of thrilling high level StepManiaX competition or tune in to the livestream if you can’t make it person.
Tournament Rules
Highlights
- $20 Entry Fee (Each) for Single and Full Tournaments
- $1000 Prize Pool (Singles: $300/$200/$100/$50, Full: $150/$75/$50/$25) Prizes are in Cash
- 18-25 difficulty range (18-28 for brackets)
- 2-Song ‘unlimited tries’ qualifiers (Online and Onsite).
- Pool Format: Players are divided into 4 pools and play 2 songs against the other players in their group. Each win is worth 1 point. Top 2 in each group advance to the bracket stage. (Special rules above 28 entrants).
- Brackets will be double-elimination best-of-5 songs with a 7 song card draw. Each player bans one song, then each player picks alternating songs.
- The finals will be best-of-7 with a 12-card draw. (2 bans each)
- For any advancement tiebreakers, all tiebreaker participants will play the same two randomly chosen songs within the 18-25 difficulty. The participant(s) with the top combined scores will advance to the single elimination final round.
Weekend Schedule (October 28th – October 30th)
Friday (5pm-10pm)
- Warmup night! All games on free play (This may change if the arcade is open to the public)
Saturday (11am-10pm)
- Tournament Day 1
- Hard/Wild Tournament starts at 12pm
- Full tournament will start shortly after the Hard/Wild tournament
Sunday (12pm-7pm)
- Tournament Day 2.
- Conclude Full tournament (if necessary)
- Start Team tournament (pending enough signups)
